However, the President stresses that no military alliance is in place, which had been a concern of several reporters present at the announcement. The news was received neutrally by Outworlds Alliance citizens. (Handbook: Major Periphery States p135) * 3064: The Separatist political faction, which opposes House Avellar, used the land-for-tech deal with Clan Snow Raven to increase support, describing the deal as "a prelude to takeover by the Birds' warrior caste". Due to their typical skepticism of outsiders, Outworlds Alliance citizens were wary about the Clan Snow Raven forces in Outworlds Alliance territory, especially due to the violent reputation of the Clans. (Turning Points: Antallos) * Early 3069: Swift Wind Naval Star is destroyed by a successful guerrilla attack carried out by Word of Blake forces operating out of Dante (The Wars of Reaving p40) * 3069: Clan Snow Raven gave the civilian population of Galedon V one week to evacuate before destroyed every major city via orbital bombardment. This attack was retribution for the destruction of the Swift Wind Naval Star. Three of the ships in the Storm Crow Naval Pursuit Star took on civilian refugees infected with an Age of War bioweapon known as XCON-73 or the Curse of Galedon. Ultimately, the CSR Mountbatten and CSR Nestling were destroyed and CSR Storm Crow was disabled to prevent the spread of the plague. Upon return to Outworlds Alliance space, Clan Snow Raven leadership learned of the results of Outworlds Alliance intelligence investigating the attack on the Swift Wind Naval Star. The attack was carried out by the Omniss militant group Dante's Inferno. The violence on Galedon intensified secessionist sentiments on Baliggora and Raldamax, and protests were also seen on Ramora, Quatre Belle, and Cerberus.
